Christmas day, Prague 2008

Even though it is extremely cold, we manage to stay warm by bundling up. I may look like a walking sleeping bag in my full length down coat, but I am warm! The hot spiced wine is nice to warm up with also. It is sold by vendors at the Christmas markets and from windows (walk-up style) at restaurants.

Here I am....

Here is Denise...

Merry Christmas!!

There were snow flurries today! We had to watch out for patches of ice on the ground also. It is COLD...

Here are images of the loft and from the neighborhood we are staying in, in Prague 7. This area is highly sought after by the young, hip crowd I've been told (by the airport shuttle driver).

This area is only 2-3 metro stops, just across the river, from the Old Town.
